Servo quality RR models

I have now my 5th RR Multiplex model and they all fly outstanding , I had 2Solius , a Pilatus , a Heron and A Easy Glider 4 .
But with al the gliders i had a lot of problems with the quality of the servo's , i crashed 2 solius gliders because servo failure.
now on the Heron i got a stripped gear of one aileron servo without any bums or so ??
Why does MPX not use better servo's ?? , at least metal gears . the MPX products are not the cheapest on the market , and you may aspect a better quality for this money., it is also impossible to replace a servo without damaging your wing or fuselage . I hope someone of MPX read this and that in the future they make a heron with better servo's .
In the Pilatus where Hitec servo's used , no problem at all with them !

I have a lot MPX RR Models but still no problems with servos, they all work fine. These are all standard Hitec Servos. Maybe, you have problems wirh your storage. A lo tof years ago I had that, the storage was to wet all the time and to less fresh air. Or a bad area?

If you read the message carefully , its about the MPX (tiny) servo's who gives problems, not the Hitec
I flying and building for about 40 years with rc models in all categories and know how to handle my equipment and stuff
i have about ± 20 models and stored in a warm comfy workplace, so that isnt the issue .
I hoped that someone of MPX gives a reaction , if you press on Contact on there site you be directed to this forum !

OK. Tiny Servo ist in fact a HITEC Servo, it is only rebranded. It is a long time ago were MPX built there own servos. I bought the last ones a lot of years ago at the shopping friday at there branch. Maybe it is not strong enough.....

I am definitely not a friend of foamies - but I must admit - I own a couple of them. Especially for trainingpurpose foamies are great. And this is the reason why I do prefere the BK-versions. Ok, all in all they are a little more expensive but on the other side, I can choose the equipment on my own. My models usually run with MG-Servos (excepted gas-servos). This makes them more resistent against damages caused by hard manouvers (and Landings) or tranportation. For installation in foamies I prefere hot-melt-glue. If any part showed abnormal function it can be removed easily. And last but not least - the more often I intend to use a model the more expensive components I use.
Just try it. ;o)
