I have purchased a new Cockpit SX 12 and installed the latest version of Multiplex Launcher. When I connect the TX to the PC, it is recognised but when I open Launcher, it cannot find the transmitter.How can I get Launcher to find the transmitter?

there is no update available for the SX 12, yet! Your transmitter is using newest version 1.30.In future, when an update is available you have to select manually in the MULTIPLEX Launcher "Tool" - bar, the COCKPIT SX Manager.

I thought that the Launcher program could also be used for updating or setting up receivers, sensors and the Multimate but the software does not connect to any of those either. Is this new version of Launcher only to be used for transmitter firmware updates?

Thanks, that worked.Just one final question, can I assume that for the Cockpit SX 12, the Launcher program only updates firmware and backs up and does nothing else. For example, you can view the models and delete them but you can't edit them.
Yes you are right.
Because you do not need the Launcher therefore.
-> If you want to edit a Modelfile, you can open it in a Text Editor, it uses a clear text .XML format.
