Gas Engine RPM via MSB

The RCEXL ignition units supplied with many gasoline engines have a connection to connect a LED tachometer display to, does anybody know of an adaptor which would allow this to connect to the MSB and display rpm at the transmitter.

I know I could fit a Multiplex rpm senor but this would be an easier/neater solution.

I use the Powerbox Sparksvitch PRO with telemetry rpm, batt volt, batt current, temp etc on my gas engines. Just wire like the picture says.

Christoph, Arne thanks, I think I have the MPX magnetic sensor unit somewhere, I'll have to dig it out and give it a go. Much safer checking the rpm from the Tx than holding a hand held unit behind the prop.

On my OS-GF40 gas its more complexed to read out the rpm and no tacho output, so I used a MSB magnetic sensor from Multiplex and used the existing magnet on the prop hub , just added the sensor from Multiplex and put it a bit away from the other pick up device in case of interference.

There's always the powerbox sensor as well that wraps around the Spark Plug HT lead too. Anyway I've ordered a MPX magnetic sensor and will try it on my ignition unit tacho lead, if that doesn't work then I'll do as you suggest above.
