don't ask me how, but I got rain moisture inside the back of my transmitter. For better drying I would open the case, but I don't know if it is easy like with the C2 version, I mean just unscrew or something attached to the back of the case?Any kind help? Further if I have to send to Germany for service, anyone knows an email address of the MPX service to agree the return shipment? Thanks Carlo
Its rather easy. Just unscrew the Torx on the back using the provided tool and pull of the back. There is one little plug which connects the back housing with the main board. But it is uncritical and easy to unplug. This is may of help:--> http://technikforum.multiplex-rc.de/t/schalterwechsel-in-der-cockpit-c3/4290
really many thanks for the kind advice, back housing successfully removed
after opening back housing it looks dry and ready for testing. What could be the possible damages to check for from rain entering this transmitter
Hi,before you make the first Test after drying, do the Transmitter in a warm Environment. Maybe a Room Heater. Temperature should be 40 °C, Do it for 1 hour.
After this make Test with the Transmitter. (Short range Test).

It may happend when laying down the Transmitter into the wet morning gras, while the sun is shining ...
I have put the open transmitter inside the lipo heating case for a couple of hours at 40°C, then tested and everything looks working well. For me it happened due to rain entering the transmitter case from top perimeter while I was thinking the case was rain proof. Thanks for your support to solve my issue.
