Wingstabi (questions and a suggestion)

Got the Wingstabi 7 channel and pared it to Futaba via s.bus
Few questions and a suggestion
1. Any option to change the phase 3, to self-leveling (in emergency when the plane position is unknown/uncontrolled)???
2. Got a glider with ailerons along the whole wing. Please add a simple option of flaperons. Spent to much time for such a basic configuration and I'm not sure that the end product is correct…
3. I understand that Wingstabi can't send its angles via Futaba s.bus2 telemetry, correct?
4. Any gain from connecting electric motor to Wingstabi and not directly to the receiver? If yes, can it bypass the motor controller telemetry (Futaba) via the Wingstabi to the connected receiver?

1. Not possible with the Wingstabi, it does not have self leveling capabilities.
2. Send aileron and flap inputs into the Wingstabi and do the mixing in the Wingstabi
3. Wingstabi does not measure angles and telemetry from Wingstabi is only on Mlink versions
4. You need to make sure the power supply is connected to the Wingstabi, so if the ESC provides power for the servos it should be connected to the Wingstabi

My bad, not checking the self-leveling feature before buying
The ESC is actually MPX product with Futaba telemetry (ROXXY), so I have to connect it to s.bus2 on the receiver. I selected 6V for the BEC to reduce the risk of voltage dropping. I can add another power-only cable from the receiver to the Wingstabi and /or a capacitor on the wingstabi voltage input if you think that it is necessary.

The Wingstabi is designed to power the receiver via IN port and this will usually be less than 100ma. Servo power comes off the servo connection common rail at the other end. I do not know how much current can be fed to the servos from the "IN" port.

To be safe I would add a further power cable to one of the servo ports.
Use a Y lead with a servo if there is not a spare port available.
