Wingstabi in a FunJet2

I am almost done building a FunJet2 and want a Wingstabi onboard. The Launcher has the old FunJet template to start with. Is this OK to use? This template uses rudder as a servo output too, No rudder servo onboard this plane, nor the old FunJet so why is it in the template?

Hi,

you can use the old Funjet template. The servo setting "rudder" is just optional. You dont need to connect a servo. You can also set the servo assignment to disabled for the rudder servo

Steffen, what about the manual saying elevator deflection 10mm up and 8mm down ,aileron negative deflection +/-8/11mm (8 mm up and 11mm down). Can I forget this as I use Wingstabi gyro? Is it enough to adjust up and down deflection on the servo to 10 and 8mm. Or am I wrong?

Hi,

the predefined settings in the funjet template are working fine. With gyro its not really important to match the suggested settings from the manual

So its only up and down deflections to adjust and FunJet template to use, great Steffen.
