Does anyone know if the USB Flightsim stick can also be used to update and programm the Smart SX controller, or do I have to absolutely buy the expensive USB PC-Kabel ?Thanks for any answer,

No it can not be used. Why do you want to update the Smart Sx, Programming via the cable is not possible, too.
Maybe to load a firmware update or to transfer new RR+ model settings into the transmitter as suggested in the manual ?!?
This is possible but to be honest, if you dont wanna buy the cable, revert 2 servos manually with the smart sx will not be a too big job....
