Hi, Lucio!
For upgating you evo 9 you only need to download the MLULTIPLEX Launcher from the MULTIPLEX homepage. That's for free so far.
Next point is that you need two adapter dongles:
1. USB-adapter 85148 for the transmitter (ROYAL eco/pro/SX and COCKPIT SX 7 (C2) only!): a little handicap could be that your transmitter needs to be version 3.0 at least - otherwise you have to send the transmitter to the MPX service!
2. You need the USB-adapter 85149 (for almost any other MPX-device - here the HF-module). This is necessary because even the module needs an update to version 1.72 (at least I think). This is due to a change for the module to LBT function! Later transmitter versions (here 3.56 - that's the latest I think) even require this update. Without it there is no link possible to the receiver.
The update procedure is as follows:
1. Link up your transmitter to the PC (USB 85148) and start the launcher (see above). The transmitter should be recognised automatically. Now follow the update function (update button).
2. Link up up your HF-mdule (M-LINK only) via com plug by using USB 85149. Even this should be recognised automatically. Follow the update instructions (update button!). The Hf-module udpade might not be necessary if the module is out of the latest production.
As you see the whole procedure is a bit complex and you need the two adapters (about 30 € each). If your TX-version is too old you got to send the transmitter to the servie anyway. So it might be easier to leave the complete update to the service.
If you still have to buy the HF-module it may be less costly to buy a secondhand TX on eBay. This might sound a bit disappointing, but it is the way it is. Sorry!
best regards
