Twin Star Motor Query - One motor not turning

Hello all,
I am not sure where to look about this so I thought I would as here. I have 2022 TwinStar (10 flights sold) an one of motors is now stuttering and not starting. The motor is a PERMAX BL-O 2830-1100 connected to a BL-30 BEC. I have also checked the BEC settings with my Multimate and all seem to be ok. I have not previously changed anything so I am a little lost. Also, I have the brake set to off in the BL-30 but the problem motor is even not spinning as freely as the "good" motor when spun by hand without any power being connected.

Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Hi Rodderick,
when the engine stucks, I would recommend a new one. Maybe there is just a defective ballbearing and You can replace it on Your own. I would not use the engine, because if it is defective, it will consume more energy and this might overpower the ESC.

Hey

Check the three connections from the ESC to the electric motor.
Sometimes connectors get loose or there could also be a bad solder joint.
If there really is a loose connection, you can compress the female part slightly using pliers, or just replace it.
