True Airspeed-vario sensor

I just bought a true airspeed sensor for my highwing trainer.

In the documentation it is said that the sensor can be installed IN ANY POSITION in the fuselage, and just after to attach it's narrow side to the bottom of the fuselage ...

As I will install the pitot on one wing (to be sure to be out the the propeller blowing), and that the wings are disassembled for transport, the best solution is to mount the sensor itself in the same wing as the pitot.

Now, can I install it in one wing, and MUST anyway the narrow side of the sensor look "down" ? I don't understand why the sensor must have a certain position ...

Dear Sir, the air pressure sensor is internally electromechanical built, if you do not mount it as described the precision will be a little lower in the case if you pull totally the elevator at a high speed. This could result in a measuring of a wrong attitude (1-5m ) for this time....

thanks for this clarification. I will mount it narrow side looking down (when the plane is flying level).

Anyway, I can suppose I can install it in one wing, and put the tape on any convenient side ?
