Safety Switch replace mechanical switch

Recently one of my Safety-Switches, a 12Hv 85007, got "stuck" in the on position. I assume the mechanical switch has failed and the rest of the unit worked as it should to protect the model.

Can I just cut the existing switch off and replace it with a standard receiver switch?

I once have examined thuch a switch. The switch works with three kabels (red, black, yellow). It activates the safety switch when black is connedted to red and deactives when black is connected to yellow. Don't nail me on the colours, might be red and yellow have to be swapped. So if you replace the orginal mechanical switch in this sense the safety switch should work perfectly again.

Thanks, but fortunately panic over. I removed the switch from the model and found a foreign object stopping the switch from going to the fully off position, removed it and the switch is now back to normal.
