Expanding the COCKPIT SX (C3) to 16 channels is not very likely! MULTIPLEX certainly does not want the COCKPIT to compete to the ProfiTX. Now you may say: Why did they do it with the ROYAL SX? The ROYAL SX is about to leave the MULTIPLEX programm. As with cars the last models get all the things the can build in and so it seems with the ROYAL SX. By the way the channels 13 to 16 are not fully programmable. They have wanted to sell as many as possible and the successor is already there: COCPIT SX (C3)!
The only thing I can imagine is when the ProfiTX (or its successor) is expanded to let's say 24 channels then you can expect a 16-channel COCPIT SX.
Don't expect a MULTIPLEX-official to give a definite statement to any expansion or any idea of want a future product will look like or will offer weaht feature!
