Power multilight leds

Hi all,

I'd like to know if it is any drawback to not connect all 9 LEDS, as I'd like to use only 3 LEDs with the module on my vintage RC plane.

Any chance to get a definitive answer of a Multiplex technical ?

I don't have any electronic knowledge, and I just want to be sure that the PowerMultilight circuitry will not be overloaded and will not "burn" if only 2 or 3 leds are connected and will draw current (instead of 9 leds).
