Pairing problem with old Cockpit Sx

I tried to pair my Cockpit SX (7 ch, older model, yellow) with Rx9 DR receiver which was working ok with my royal sx16 in Funcub.. It got paired ( led was blinking after pairing lilke it should be) .
However, servos in Funcub are moving not ok all the time; movement is not smooth, sometimes some servo moves itself, servos movement is like there would be disturbances in radio link; Servos don't follow the sticks movenent precisely.

Pairing has been done always in same place, no wifi etc possible disturbance factors which could cause these problems.

Then I tried to pair Rx 7 light ; same problems.

The last paired receiver was Rx 7 dr and with this servos work as they should.

Same receivers work ok with royal sx 16.

The strange thing is that in planes where I have other receivers paired earlier with Cockpit Sx, they work ok.

I even tested other servos with the problem receivers and cockpit; same result; servos do not work ok.
Rx voltage was coming either from rx battery or ESC with BEC

So any ideas I have these problems with Cockpit Sx and Rx 9 dr and Rx 7 light ? It feels like the wireless link between the radio and these two receivers is not working ok after pairing procedure. Cockpit has always worked ok for many years,never had similar problems with my MPX radios before.

So let's sum up your problem: all receivers work well with the Royal SX transmitter, some of the "older" receivers work with the cockpit SX (old version) especially with the "light" receivers. There are, however, probelms with nonlight RXxx DRs in combination with the Cockpit TX.

Are you able to update die Cockpit SX TX software? This might cure your problem. I guess, there are some problems with the updated DR-receivers and they don't match the Cockpit anymore.

Here's the summary;

royal sx 16;
all ok.

Cockpit;

receivers paired long time ago (are in planes):
rx-5 light, no telemetry, OK
rx-7 m link (telemetry, one antenna) OK

tested pairing yesterday;
rx-7 dr m-link (white label) OK
rx- 9 dr m-link ( silver, older) not OK
rx- 7 light ,no telem. not OK

Radio has 3.1 sw. , it should be the latest one ?

Should I try to update the receivers which are not working? Both them are several years old and I don't remember if the are updated ever....

Hi Profimc,

Meanwhile I charged the transmitter (voltage was about 7.25 V when I did the tests) and updated Rx-9 Dr from 1.2 to 1.26 SW version and miracle happened after new pairing;

now Rx-9 dr works as it should be.
So the update of Rx or full battery in Tx solved the issue.

I need to test rx-7 light also. If it works then the charging of the Tx is the cure to my problem ( as this Rx can't be updated. )

Sounds strange if there is such s big meaning with full/ half empty charge of Tx when pairing...(?)

ps The rx-7 dr which worked ok all the time had 1.2 SW like Rx-9 dr earlier, so in rx-7 dr the SW version did not cause issues.

Case closed;
I updated HF-module in Cockpit to same version as I have in Royal Sx ; 0.72.

Now also RX-7 DR light started to work normally with Cockpit.

Lessons learned;
If there are strange problems after pairing, check the SW versions and update if possible.

i dont belive that it is a software issue.... i recomment you to sent your transmitter for a check up to the service department .... i think that it works is just fortuity....

Ok, I will do that at some point.

Strange thing is that the TX has worked without any single problem all the time and this was the first thing I have had problems with it. ( If I would not have started to pair new receivers with it, I would have just been using it like before...)

Hi, everbody!

Many switches and a lot of honor! (Sounds like German and it is a literal translation!)

Fast response is used to adapt fast servos to certain conditions - mainly a fast response. Unfortunately ist limits the number of servos you can meaningfully use. In some transmitter there is a little switch on the switchbar (fast-resopnse/French), these are mainly those with replacable HF-moduls. On other transmitters you have to set the option somewhere in software dungeons.
