In the launcher (MPX-hompage) you can find the 3.49 V manual, which explains most of the features.
Other manuals have not been released so far - at least as far as I know.
4.0 is similar to 3.76 which was banned. But be careful - there are some late news that 4.0 might not be flawless.
Mine works fine on 4.0 without any difficulties so far.
