Multiplex and Graupner compatibility

Hello,
I have a question about Graupner General air/engine modul.
Can I use these modules in conjunction with a Multipex receiver and transmitter ?
As I have a MC32 hott ( not functioning) and Gr32 Hott receiver I like also to find out if if I can use the GR 32 in conjunction with a Multiplex Transmitter.
Its for a model ship 1,5mtr long ( Similar to Cap San Diego) with lights/sound in different groups controled by a Beier SFR-1.
I like to get readings of RPM. battery voltage. Motor Amps , and when possible also
ships speed. (blue tooth ??)

Hi, Antoon!

Nice idea but it won't work. MULTIPLEX established the M-LINK-2.4-system which works with its own telemetriesystem based on MSB (MULTIPLX-serial-bus) and it is not compatible to any other system as to HOTT, DUPLEX, FASST or others.

Meanwhile quite a number of producers offer ESCs or telemetrie products that work with quite a number of systems (implementing MSB e.g.) but the main producers do not open their products to their direct competitors. So HOTT-telemetrie-products do not work with the M-LINK (MSB) system and vice versa.

As profimc wrote - No you can not. But as MPX also have sensors there is actually no need to do so.

Unless you run a FrSky, Jumper or Radiomaster transmitter with there wide range compatibility features, you need to stay inbetween one manufacture.

MPX offers Sensors for all of that. No problem to get readings for all. But since you seem to be a very beginner in Radio Control technic let me say - surely your MPX transmitter/receiver has to be some later one (last 10 years) and need to support telemetry.

In that purpose BlueTooth is not of help at all.
