Last autumn my 87 inch Pilot Sbach with a DLE-55 gas on board lost all control after takeoff, Wingstabi 16 was the receive onboard. Never found the reason, but bought a new plane with a new Wingstabi 16 receiver too. Last weekend I was ready for maiden, but in the pit with full engine power I noticed that all servoes suddenly died, the throttle servo could be pushed by hand to idle. The only channel which worked was the killswitch luckily so the engine could be stopped.
Today I was testing in my garage and the same thing happened, this time I had Launcher connected during full power and when the servoes died the Launcher lost contact with Wingstabi 16. I also have a MULTIPLEX safety switch profi item number 85196 connected to my Wingstabi as a power on /off. When I disconnected this switch everything was fine with engine at full power. Connected it again and the servoes died as earlier mentioned.
I now realize that the kill switch made some distortion so that the Wingstabi turns off during full engine power. The cords from the switch was laying over the kill switch, when I moved the switch to the other side of my plane everything works fine.
This was an expensive lesson to learn that cords must be put at the right place and never close to any ignition parts.
Picture shows the yellow red and black cord from the safety switch barely laying over the kill switch.
