Does wireless training work with Mode 1 Instructor TX and Mode 2 Pupil TX

Hi, my German is not so great, so I will try in English.

My instructor has a Mode 1 Profi TX and I (as a pupil) have a Smart SX Mode 2. Can we use the wireless training function or do both transmitters need to be Mode 1?

I other words, could I use left stick for throttle while my instructor uses right stick for throttle when we use the wireless training function?

I am asking this because my instructor has not yet purchased the Copilot module for his transmitter.
