Difference between two Rx antennas

Hi,
Is there something else different than the bend relief in these two receiver antennas:
893024 antenne M-Link RX (no bend relief)
1-00421 antenna M-link RX7-9 (has bend relief)

I have 893024 and the antenna looks similar to 1-00421

I also have some NON-telemetry (light) receivers and in all MPX receivers the only difference looks like to be the total antenne lenght; telemetry receivers are with longer antennas and NON-telemetry with short antennas. In all antennas the tip's clear end have same lenghts.

The 893024 antenna

belongs to the RX-xx-DR-M-LINK receivers as shown here:

The 1-00421 antenna

is suitable for almost all the other receivers M-LINK-receivers, especially the DR-receivers. Alas there might be different lengths. For example the RX-DR-compact receivers have two antennas with different length. So to be sure to get the right length you may contact the MULTIPLEX service.

For all 2,4 GHz receivers (M-LINK or others (Fasst, HOTT, Jeti ...)) the rule applies: the effective antenna lenght is 30 mm and in most cases it is the bare end of the arial . Some arial have a cover shrunk over these ends (sometimes in different colors). You must be careful with shrinking a cover over these endings yourself: black shrinking tube might include carbon particles which reduce the antenna efficency. The matter has already been discussed here in the forum!

This explains my confusion: I had two 893024 antennas in original MPX plastic bags which I installed in my DR RX-7 ( these spare antennas were ordered about two years ago from Lindinger I think) and they both had the similar small flat round connectors to ft my RX-7 like the 1-00421. (and only difference was the missing bend relief, mu 893024 antennas had also same thin cables) . So there must have happened an error at MPX packing department at some point if 893024 should be for that bigger RX model (?)

I can only follow the item numbers you have stated! My reference is the original MULTIPLEX list on their homepage. Following this line you find what I posted last time.

So I don't know who mixed up numbers and photos and who send spareparts with wrong numbers or the right produkt unter the wrong number.

Sure, I totally agree with you, your answer is reasonable and I understand this now.

I think some MPX person could comment on this as well. Of course my case might have just occured because a packing error in some product batch.
