Chargers like the one you show as in the photo are only usefull with old NC-, NimH- or Pb-batteries. They don't offer any automatic end-of-charge function. And even for the battery I named it is not advisable to charge them with these oldfashioned gadgets. They might overcharge smaller batteries or it needs 14 and more hours to fully charge a battery. These chargers only offer standard-charging at a current of 1/100 of the batteries capacity.
Even on eBay you can't hope to make a good deal: I tried it several times - 5 €, more I couldn't get!
