How do I set Flaps and Aileron on my Cockpit SX 9 to work as Butterfly landings aid?

Hello!

As I have written so many times by now. Butterfly depends on the spoiler function. You have to asign the aileron servos to ail+ and the faps to flapin+ and the you have to give in the right ratio for spoiler in the mixersettings. Don't forget the elevator compensation in elev+ and again it is the ratio spoiler you habe to set at about 5 % down for a start.

This is the normal way for setting butterfly in a MULTIPLEX-transmitter. You mixers may have slightly different names because my terminology is taken from the ROYAL SX and ProiTX. But the philosophy is basically the same!

If you are talking about the current Cockpit SX C3, Butterfly is ready to use.
Its named Spoiler and assigned to one of the 2 rolls. In order to have this properly working, each Flap and each Aileron has to be linked to the according receiver channel.

Mine is a Cockpit SX9. I have assigned the flaps to the spoiler roll on the back. How do I mix the ailerons to the spoiler function in order to have the ailerons going up when the flaps go down?

Be aware - if you have assigned the flaps to one roll, this is the Flap Sensor. The other roll will be the Spoiler Sensor from now on. In a first run one roll can only be either Flap or Spoiler. Nothing else. You can only choose which roll should be what sensor.
In order to put live into the Spoiler roll:
Choose Mixer -> Aileron Mix (as the Mixer) -> Spoiler (as the sensor). In the next screen adjust the slider bars according your needs.
