Buddy trim changes

I am using one of these with a Royal Pro fitted with a wireless buddy link, when I transfer control to the SX there is a trim change on all channels.

I have fixed this by using flight phases on the Royal Pro so that there are separate trim positions when the buddy link is activated. But why is this.

You have to select on Cockpit SX 2 the PUPIL U Mode, on Royal SX (pupil) you have to select M-LINK

Thank you, I changed the mode in the Royal Pro trainer options and it all works fine with the Smart Sx now.
