Wingstabi XR 9 DR

Hallo zusammen,

Vor einiger Zeit hatte ich in einen Rocco von FVK den Wingstabi XR 9 DR eingebaut. Ich dachte, dass ich alles ok eingestellt hatte. Nun wollte ich heute zum ersten Mal fliegen. Die Initialisierung / Querruderbewegung war alles ok. Ggf. hatte sich durch die Wärme die Anlenkung geändert, so dass ich vor dem Start noch 2 Zacken Am Höhenruder nachstellen wollte. Dabei stellte ich aber fest, dass auch bei Voller Trimmung sich gar nichts tat. Ich weiß, dass man beim Erstflug ohne Kreiselphase trimmen darf und nach dem Erstflug dann die schnelle Schalterbewegung durchführt.

Aber ohne dass die Trimmung reagierte bin ich erst gar nicht gestartet.

Der Empfänger war vorher in einem anderen Modell. Da war alles ok.

Hat einer eine Idee?

Have you selected controls without trim on the transmitter?

What I recognized yesterdayevening was that when I used the Receiver First Time in used my old Transmitter. Now it should work with the Profi TX 16. I will Check your hint later.

Hello,

I resetted the Wohle System and used the Assistant Mode. I used only a three step switch for the three Wingstabi Phases. After Finalistin Gall steps there is no differente. Still the trimming is not working. In the menu under the servo symbol at the bottom there are 4 Lines under trimmung. Currently at all for is written not adjusted to a Channel. My ussumptation was that I do Not have to change something if I do Not want to use the additional trimming over a Channel.

So far I have now idea how to program correct.

But you mentioned that I have to Check it on the transmitter. Wehre can I find it?

Have a look on the servo monitor does the trim lever move the aileron, elevator and rudder channels?

If it doesn't then check that you have not set the trim steps to 0 (in the controls menu). Or in the servo assignments you have selected Aileron - Tr, elevator - Tr etc as this just the control stick movement with no trim. This option is available as on the Profi as you can send the trim values as separate channels which the wingstabi will use (providing you have specified the trim channels in the transmitter and wingstabi).

Hello Frank,

At First I opened the servo Monitor. When I moved the trim Levers e.g on rudder, aileron and elevator there was no movment on Channel 1, 2 and 3. But the Bars on 7, 8 and 9 were moveing.
Then I went into the menu and you are right that trim was set to zero on Ruder, aileron and elevator. I changed it to 1,5 as it is the normal setting on the old Royal Evo.
Back tothe servo monitor all Bars were moveing correct on 1,2 and 3. Together with the Model it is working also correct.

But still the Bars on 7, 8 and 9 are moveing.

At the end I do Not want to have Signals from the Transmitter which I do Not Need.
Under the servo menu there are three Lines with aileron tr, Elevator tr and rudder tr. If I Open this it Looks the same as if I Open just aileron, elevator and rudder.

Still i do Not find the menu Point to Switch 7,8,9 of.

Have you used the Single trim Funktion.?

in der Servozuordnung bei 7, 8, 9 QuerruderTr, HöheTr und SeiteTr rausnehmen ( da stehen dann jeweils 3 Striche)

Warum willst du die Trimmkanäle nicht nutzen?

Hallo Micha,

Habe ich gemacht. Nun ist alles, wie ich es mir gedacht habe.

Es ist doch nun so: im Erstflug den Flieger trimmen, landen, den Stabischalter 5 mal schnell bewegen. Empfänger ausschalten und dann am Sender die Trimmung wieder auf Null/Mitte stellen.

Zum Thema warum ich die zusätzliche Trimmung nicht nutzen will hat nur mit der mangelnden Erfahrung zur Einstellung zu tun.
Ich finde, dass hierzu in der Anleitung ein vollständiges Beispiel fehlt.

Müsste ich dann zuerst unter dem Servo Menü die Trimmungswert wieder auf null setzen. Dann die Servos 7,8 und 9 wieder auf Höhenrudert tr usw. stellen.
Im Wingstabi müsste ich dann was genau einstellen. Ich habe derzeit an der Profi TX noch keinen Tasschalter.

In der Tat ist es etwas unübersichtlich. Nutzt man die Trimmkanäle mit der ProfiTX, so müssen die Übergabe-Kanäle (Quer, Seite, Höhe) als xxxx-Tr eingerichtet werden, da die Trimmschieber nun als zusätzliche Geber die Trimmkanäle im WINGSTABI für Quer, Seite und Höhe fungieren! Damit sind die Timmgeber nicht mehr direkt mit den Gebern im Sender gekoppelt. Aktiviert man die "Trimmhilfen" im WINGSTABI nicht, steht man natürlich ohne Trimmung da!

Übrigens funktioniert es mit der ROYAL SX in ähnlicher Weise!

das es so ähnlich funktionieren muss habe ich mir schon gedacht. Damit würde ich im Menü wieder Querruder tr, Höhe tr und Seitenruder tr aktivieren und jeweils einen Kanal zuordnen; z.B 7, 8 und neun. Würden im Servomenü die Trim Schritte wieder auf 0 gesetzt?

Wie muss ich es dann im Wingstabi genau einrichten? Muss der Trimmflug Modus auch aktiviert werden.

Also im Servomenü muss man die Trimmschritte nicht auf "0" stellen, da ja die Hauptfunktionen ohne Trimmung übergeben werden. Der Trimmflug-Modus ist nicht notwendig (eigentlich unsinnig), da ja jetzt in jeder Flugphase (d. h. Kreiselphase) getrimmt werden darf!!!

Actually yes, if you are send the trim values as separate channels to the Wingstabi then you must decouple the trim levers from the main controls. Either by setting the trim steps to 0 in the controls menu, or selecting Aileron -Tr, Elevator-Tr and Rudder -Tr (i.e. controls less trim) in the servo assignment menu.

As Profimc notes if you separate the trims from the main controls and send trim as separate channels then there is no need to do a trimming flight as trim values now bypass the gyros.

I have done setups both ways, on my Profi 16 and Royal Evo 9, with my Royal Evo I use the trim flight option, as I don't have enough channels to send the trims separately.

als ich gestartet bin könnte ich im Servo Monitor sehen, dass auf den Känälen 7,8 und 9 über die Trimmung Signale übergeben wurden aber vom Empfänger nicht an die Servos gingen. Daher muss noch etwas im Wingstabi nicht richtig aktiviert sein.

Im WINGSTABI-Menü muss die Option "Verwendung ProfiTX" aktiviert werden und es müssen die Kanäle für die Trimmungen zugewiesen werden.
