Wingstabi Easy Servo Frequency

Does setting the servo frequency on the Wingstabi in Easy Control affect all servos or just those that are gyro controlled? Could I use digitals at a higher frequency on the ailerons, elevator and rudder with analogue servos on throttle, flaps retracts etc? Thanks

I am not quite sure, but I think that the timing is for all servos. A Wingstabi can not detect what kind of servos are used and so You will have to determine timing for the "slowest" one.

the setting is for the servos, which are teached in as a gyro stabilized axis servo. The rest is analog

From the manual (Evolution version):

The impulse rate is set for each servo separately. This means that even a mixed system with analog and digital servos and various impulse rates in one model is feasible.

Max, yes for the Classic software but in Easy there is not the option to change the servos frequency individually, but just checking the Easy Evolution the pop up note now clearly states for all gyro-controlled servo outputs, it may also have done in the previous version but I can't recall, which is probably why I asked the question.

BTW anybody reading this, in the Launcher English version the description in the servo settings extended menu is still in German, but the associated pop up is OK.

Funny you should say that, as that was more or less the question I posed in the other thread, saying I had been assuming the "Easy" was the version that could only be programmed with the Tx, and as soon as you hook it up to the Launcher, it could only be programmed as the "Classic"-version.
Now whether that was correct or not, when hooked up my second hand acquired WST RX-7-DR, the only option for a firmware update I get is the Evolution version 2.1.0., and nowhere does it make a differentiation between Easy and Classic. And neither do the manuals (basic and extended) make that differentiation where it describes the programming per PC.
Mind you, I don't know what the status was with the previous owner (but the firmware was labelled as version 1.3.7. iirc).

And coming back to your original question, the Servo-tab in the Launcher (version 573) shows an entry field that gives you the choice between analog and digital, the latter at 120Hz, 200Hz and 333Hz.

I am still in the learning phase (my brain that is, not the WST ), so I may be shown the error of my ways......

Max, yes in Easy you can change the servo frequency, but not on a servo by servo basis, MPX have confirmed that the frequency selection only applies to gyro controlled servos, on Classic you could mix digitals and analogues on gyro controlled channels and set higher speeds on the digitals, on Easy if you select the higher speed all the servos on gyro controlled channels must be suitable.

As regards the firmware, you have to click on the firmware type button and that then gives you the two options between Wingstabi and Wingstabi Easy

Yes, I can see that now. I am sticking with the non-easy version, mostly for the challenge
