Using sensor values to activate functions

As the English V 3.49/3.55 of the manual is still unavailable, I need some support on how to set up Retract deployment using a sensor value. Please detail the method here. Thanks.

Hello!

What you need is a magicswitch (MS1 to 4). In the toolbox you can open the switch assignment options to find the magiswitches. On my PTX 16 MS2 to 4 offer sensor inputs. As to the German manual you have to make sure that your PTX already receives sendordata. Now you can define your theshholdvalues. Then you might assign the chosen magicswitch to any funtion you want, including retracts.

you needn't be scared in any way. Seems to be mysterious for you because there is no English manual for more details. I've got the latest German one (ver. 3.49...) although we are already up to software 3.56. As you can see, even we Germans are a bit behind concerning the manual. So, if you can specify your problem I will try to find out how to help you.

Peter, depends what sensor value you are using. If you are using height, you could set a lower height and test it be raising the model. Then resetting to the actual required value.

I'd welcome a detailed method.
To specifics... Task - lower the retract at say 40m, Retract at say 200m.
Set up - PTX, retract switch on >3, forward retracted, back down.
I want to be able to maintain switch override if possible.
