Upgrade SX 9 to 12ch in the field or only at a service department?

Ihave a cockpit SX 9 I see there is an upgrade to 12ch can this be done in the field or does the TX have to go to MPX?

Unfortunately an upgrade is only possible with the MPX-service. The upgrade is not only a software change, as the software is identical with the CSX 9. There are some hardware changes - and it is not only the two additional switches.

No problem but a Big Problem.
As the Cockpit SX 9 is not FCC certified and this one is in the USA.
Question is can it be sent in to MPX Germany and returned to the USA?

Sorry, I didn't know you were posting form the USA. And I want to point out that I am not an MPX-man, just a customer as your are. The MPX-forum is not the MPX-service, it is supporters and custormers who write about MPX-products here.

It certainly is possible to send the TX to Germany and they will send it back to the USA - it is only a question who pays what shipping. And I don't know what FCC is good or, at least in combination with an upgrade.

Try to contact MULTIPLEX directly. You find the addresses and phonenumbers on the MULTPLEX-homepage.
