Set, Control and Data read with a computer

Hello,
I would like to set, control and read results (log files, datas...) from a power peak D7 charger using an USB or UART port connected to a computer. The PC software could be developed with Labview module or other software (C#...).
Is it possible ?
If yes :
1) Do I need specific cable (USB, BID port...) ?
2) What is the COM /USB protocol ?
3) Where I could find Windows drivers ?
4) Is there any existing software for setting, controling and reading results ?
