Nano MG Pro - how to reverse

Hallo,

I need 2 reversed servos for my Avios Mig 17. I want to use Nano MG Pro servos.
I don't trust the Chinese servos which came with the Mig.
How can I reverse operation of Nano MG Pro servo please?
I need one reversed servo for elevator, and one reversed servo for flap.

the easiest way is to reverse them via Your radio. Which radiosystem do You use?

Thanks, unfortunately I only have a 7 channel transmitter Spektrum DX7, and a 6 channel receiver AR636.
All the functions are used up,
throttle
aileron (2 servo Y cable)
elevator (2 servo Y cable)
rudder
gear
Aux 1 - flaps (2 servo Y cable).

I don't want to butcher the model to fit nano pro servos facing the same way. It will not be good structurally, the foam is thin in the elevator.

There are servo signal inverter available. Easy to find - just search for them. I guess it wouldnt make sense if I provide you a link, since you are probably not in Germany.

Thanks for that suggestion. I already found the other question where the advice was to get Simprop servoreverse.
But I don't know how well this plays along with Spektrum receivers?
Some advice from Rcgroups is to not use servo reverses with 2.4Ghz gear.

Does Multiplex plan on selling reversed versions of their Nano MG pro?
I see that there used to be a Nano MG Pro digital (which could be programmed), but this is now out of production?

Those servo reverse devices are independend from your receiver. And surely there is no dependency to the usage of 2.4GHz. This is nonsens. I am also pretty sure that MPX wont sell any reversed version of the Nano's.
But its not worth to worry - they are not expensive. Buy one and test it for your needs.

Can I ask another question. How is the quality of Hitec HS‑5065MG compared to Multiplex Nano Pro MG?
I guess since HS‑5065MG is digital, I can just program it to be reversed?

I cannot say anything to the quality of both servos. I dont use MPX/Hitec servos.

But whether a servo is programmable or not has nothing to do with digital or analog. If a servo is programmable it is clearly stated as a product feature. Most of them are not programmable. And once a servo is programmable, it is usually pretty expensive and you would rather like to buy some servo reverser

Hi,
I am sure,that DX7 does have a reverse function. Go in the Servo or mixer menue and check that, please. There must be an option to change the direction.

The other option You have is to remove the servos and fix them reversed. This might work best with the flap-servo. The other option is to use a 7-ch-RX and plug in each Flap-servo separately. Then You can use all possible settings for the flaps. For the elevator You just have to read Your DX-7-manual. I´m sure that there is a possibility to reverse it.

Thanks for your message. I am a fairly advanced flyer, I know how to reverse servos.
The problem is I don't have enough channels.
It is a real shame Multiplex don't make reversed servos or digital servos in the nano size (9g-12g), I really wanted to use Multiplex servos.
Looks like I will have to look for another brand of servo which is digital and can be programmed to reverse.

I think the Nano MG and the HS‑5065MG are the same size (the technical drawing on the MPX homepage is the same). My recommendation is to get the HS‑5065MG and reverse the servos as needed.

Thanks, that's what I'm thinking too. I don't know how trustworthy HS-5065MG are. I heard of some burnouts on other forums.
I trust Multiplex Nano MG pro, but its not digital.
Other options are, Futaba 3776SB MG BB, Hyperion Atlas DS11 AMB.

There are many very nice models from Freewing, FMS, etc, which come with cheap Chinese servos.
The models themselves would really benefit from good quality servos like Multiplex Nano MG pro.
Many models need reversed servos.
I hope Multiplex consider this, and consider making reversed servos to enable people to upgrade easily.
