Hallo.
I have a Multiplex Profi TX 555 bought on November 2013.
Software: 3.56 - Working Time: 594 Hours.

Today at home I switch on the transmitter and I select a model that was unused for approximately 3 years.
Into the display I see the message:

MEMORY ERROR!

I turn off and turn on it a couple of time and the message is disappeared.
I tested the transmitter around 1 hour, it works properly without problems.

It's worrying?
Some advice?

It's probably the SD card, I had this once. I backed up my Tx then removed the memory card, reformated it, and then restored all the settings and model memories.

Yes, I've also had memory errors.
But I would recommend installing a new SD card and not formatting the old one.
I would also use a branded SD card. It's in the single-digit euro range.
Such an SD card is not for eternity. If they last 5-10 years, that's a lot.
