Logos on buttons worn off

I have worn the logos away on the menu buttons on my Profi, is it possible to get these renewed?

Hi Frank, Did you receive an answer on how to replace the worn logo on the programming buttons. Mine are worn out as well.

No I asked the UK service agent and he said it was an expensive job to replace the buttons. Mine is even worse now and all the button logos have gone. Shame really as it's a super Tx but it doesn't look good when I show it to others at various fly ins etc.

Would have been better if the buttons were "etched" rather than the screen printing.

A friend of mine had the same problem sent it back to Multiplex they sorted it foc I have 2 PTX one is now coming into its 5 th year still perfect and I am using it every week

Hi FrankS,

my Buttons were replaced by MPX Service on goodwill basis when they had my TX12 for repair work because of a different issue. So in general it's possible, just ask MPX Service for a price...

Hi, guys!

Unfortunately for those who were among the first to perchase a ProfiTX - like me - the problem ist well known. You might replace them yourself (d.i.y.), the neccessary key-spider you get at the MPX-service. But it involves quite a lot of work because you have to disassemble almost the complete transmitter. I got my new keys when I sent the transmitter in for a different problem. You have got to wet their eyes a bit (that definitely sounds German!) a bit and they will do it on a goodwill basis as HG73 has said.

Here I have to praise the MPX-service again: sent in on monday - back on friday - saturday on the field - what can you want more. Alas, I don't know if that is true for our friends on the isles or elsewhere abroad Germany.
