How many channels broadcast with SRXL on Multiplex DR receiver, RX-7-DR?

Hello!
I need some help, please! I'm trying to understand how many channels my Multiplex DR receiver, RX-7-DR broadcast with SRXL?
I test the receiver with an XtremeLink® X10 + Channel Expander V2 and I only get 7 channels. What I understand is that only RX-9-DR SRXL16 gives out 16 channels. Thus, RX-7-DR and RX-9-DR provide only 7 and 9 channels, respectively, with SRXL?
Have I understood it correctly?

I have read the Wiki about SRXL for the M-Link receivers but don't get really wise anyway.

ps.
When I try the same with my newly purchased FlySky Paladin PL18 tx, FTr10 and FTr16S rx together with X10 + Channel Expander, it works perfectly on all channels, but I have only tried up to the 10 channels available on X10 + Channel Expander.

Hi,

yes. srxl will only broadcast the channel numbers of the phyiscal channels.
so srxl is limited to the pyhsical channels of the receiver.
channels above the limit will be found in srxl constant on zero (1500us).

Exception:
The RX-9-DR SRXL16 has 9 physical channels and 16 on srxl.
The RX-4/16 FLEXX has 4 physical channels and 16 on srxl.
The RX-4/9 FLEXX has 4 physical channels and 9 on srxl.
