Glueing half fuselage with time enough

Good evening,

I am assembling the KIT box of Lentus sailplane,

Due to the dimensions of the fuselage, I would like to glue the two half fuselages together having plenty of time to positions the halves, etc.

I have been used the Zacky for long but, the Lentus, is a big fuselage.

What do You think if I used a Polyrethane glue ? If case, which type ?

I do not know how Polyurethane-glue reacts with elapor. It might work, but it might also destroy the model. I've never tried that combination. I would use Zacky green and I would use a lot of it. This gives You some more time to check and correct the positioning of the fuselage parts. Do not use activator spray and allow the Zackyglue some hours to harden completely.
