I think I found a solution, Unfortunately I cannot upload any pictures to show You. So I´ll try it with words.
I created a mixer with three gas curves (cu1, cu2, cu3). They are activated exclusively via a threeway switch. The screen looks something like this:
Gas --> Curve 1 5> "up arrow"- (switch in upper position)
Gas --> Curve 2 5> "up arrow"- (switch in middle position)
Gas --> Curve 3 5> "down arrow"* (switch in lower position)
Gas curve 1 goes from 0 to +100
Gas curve 2 is 0 all the way across and acts like a "throttle cut", but with a value of 0 instead of -100
Gas curve 3 goes from -100 to +100
for the float planes with 2 engines I added a fourth line, which reads
Rudder --> 35% 5> "down arrow"*
that way, when I´m on the water and switch 5R is in the lower position, I can steer the plane with differential thrust. The second motor has a separate mixer, only difference beeing -35 instead of 35 on the "Rudder" line. Throwing switch 5 to the middle stops any motor rotation. Now I can move the throttle to lower position. Throwing switch 5 to upper position gives me full throttle range for flying.
looks good on the servo monitor, now I´ll have to give it a try for real, which I´ll do with one of my boats.
Thanks for Your hint regarding the curves in a mixer!!
