Aurora 9X - Glider retractable motor pylon and motor control

I am using a Aurora 9x transmitter with a retractable motor pylon. I need to inhibit the throttle when the pylon is not fully upright. I have programmed the raising and lowering of the pylon via a 3 position switch and set EPA and travel..Any advice welcome

Hi,

I am not using an AURORA but is it possible to use a free mixer on the gas function. Then you might switch the gasratio to zero (or what ever percentage is needed) and the gas stick is "off".

Dear tindstu1d,

In my opinion, I would use one of the method below as F5D requires 3 stages of throttle setup.
1. Setup throttle curve setting by switch for flight condition
Using various functions such as D/R, TRIM, CamberMix …. and so on which works along with flight condition.
2. Assign the switch at throttle curve
Easier way when setting up the throttle only.

Please make sure that those data can be applied only for the version of Aurora 9X is Ver 1.02(3).

Since most fliers want and try to use various setting, so there is no exact answer.
If both ways are not satisfied, please let me know with more detailed requirements.
