Here's a few photos of how I put motor and spoiler control on the stick selectable via flight phases.
1st I assigned the stick to both throttle and spoiler
2nd I set up 3 flight phases
3rd I assigned Magicswitch 3 to the throttle cut function
4th in Magicswitch MS3 I set this so throttle cut is **not
**active if Flight Phase1 or switch 1 are both in the on position, switch 1 being my safety switch
5th in the controls menu I set spoiler control to a fixed value in both Normal and Thermal (this stops the stick moving the spoilers)
And the fixed value to off in the landing phase so the stick operates the spoilers (airbrakes in my case, but it would be the same if the spoiler control operated crow braking)
I hope these get you in the correct direction of what you'd like to achieve, I have it set up like this on my ASK 11 motor glider, mainly as it makes it easier to operate the motor via the throttle stick during take off and taxying, In flight I just leave the stick in the max throttle position and change flight mode when I need an "electric" thermal, the flight phase slow giving a smooth transition to max throttle.
