Thank you, yes did that about 20 times! but it ended up that i had to leave the throttle at 3/4 instead of center for it to calibrate?
sorted now, but hope not an issue with the TX (it flys fine with this calibration).
however the reason for me calibrating the TX, was to try and fix the following issue -
I fly f3a aerobatics and need a mix in to fly a straight line down with no throttle on.
So I have set up it as follows -
set the trigger point to -95% on the throttle (i have it switched so it only works on certain phases, not landing!). I then use ctrl mix with target as elevator and switch as the throttle, this gives me the ability to switch in down elevator at around 5% on zero throttle.
All good, however i am getting coupling with the ailerons in this condition. So if I move the ailerons when the throttle is at zero it alters the elevator position, left aileron adds up elevator, right aileron adds down elevator?
I have tried a reset and re loaded the setting and now tried a re calibration, there are no other mixs in that are effecting it ie no knife edge compensation etc..
Any suggestions?
Mike
